Reflection

Semester 1 :
I joined a few clubs and activities, thus, I am quite busy.
I can hardly forget I who sleep early always had to sleep late for POL trial discussion.
The trial was like an assignment that counted in our course work.
See, I look so sleepy :

I remembered very clearly that the trial was one or two week before final. When I was studying the thick textbook for Introduction to Computer and Processing, my friend came to knock on my door, asked me to go for the trial evident photos hooting and video recording. To tell you frankly, I had limited time to finish reading the textbook, but I had to go, as that was my responsibility. The trial was getting near, and we were getting busier, I cannot even have enough sleep. In an afternoon, I wanted to have my afternoon nap, again, the same friend knocked on my door, asked me to go to the common room for discussion. Well, I went. But there were only three people there, the rest were missing in action, how I hope that my friend did not knock on my door and let me sleeping in action.

*sigh*.. I did not do well in the trial.

I joined AUP Club, one of the activities was Halloween Barbecue Night, which was a few days before the final. As the organizing committee, I had no choice but to arrive early and went back late for the preparation and clean up. I was glad that the event was a success and most of the committees did help out til the event ended despite the fact that final was just round the corner.

I became fatter during first semester.

I wonder, why some people manage to finish the whole text book, but I did not have the time. Maybe they stay up late to study or maybe they have good time management.

CSC101 was the last subject in final, when most of my friends finished their tests on Friday morning and went shopping or backed to their sweet home, I had to sit in my room, waited for Friday evening to arrive. I sat there, looked at my book and notes, feeling depressed, though I have up to four hours to do last minute revision, I just felt like I cannot finish it in four hours. However, I did not give up, I studied as much as I can. In the process, I called Yan Hui to output my feeling. She was surprise to know that I have not finish study yet, and she blessed me with wishes and promised to pray for me.

Nevertheless, God is good all the time. He knows me and he helped me. I managed to survive in final. =)
I was not only praying and do nothing hoping to get good result, I did try my best to study.
Thus, I always believe in an equation: praying + studying = excellent result.

Semester 2:
In fact, out of the three semester in the campus, second semester was the busiest, as AUP Club was active. LOL gathering night, Experience U.S Week, and Inter-College Skills Challenge.

Game time
Because of the movie night in Experience US Week, I stayed up till 3 o'clock in the morning. Who is the organizing chairperson of Experience US Week? Is he or she insane? Does he or she knows that people need to sleep? The answer is, I, Choo Lee Lee, is the organizing chairperson. Haha.. At that time, I was on fire for the club, thinking that we should organize events and make our club shines. I should blame nobody but myself.
We also moved mattresses to the hall, which consumed a lot of energy.

Inter-College Skills Challenge Closing Ceremony
I experienced another breakthrough during the Inter-College Skills Challenge, I slept at 3 o'clock in the morning as we need to on duty and I woke up in 6 something to in-charge in the table tennis competition. I was tired, and my breakfast was Brand's Chicken Essence to make me awake and alert.

Nevertheless, study is still a student's priority. Knowing well that I am not good at Java programming, I struggled to make myself understand the concept. Thank God and thank to my friend's help, I managed to master the subject, and get a B+ at the end of the day. Maybe B+ is not that excellent in your eyes, but I did do my best. I admit that if I realized earlier that I need to work hard and started to work hard, I might get a better result for that subject.Well, it is futile to cry over split milk, so I did not, but I give thanks with a grateful heart.

Of course, there are many things happened along the semester, these are just a few of them.
Maybe you would ask me why am I putting myself in the troubles, as in joining those events, being part of the committees. From the second I was selected as the club's chairperson, I knew very well that my responsibility is to run the club, make sure it shines and active all the time. Then, you might ask me why I want to be the chairperson. The answer would be I always love to lead and gain experiences from it.

My group, Music Group in charged in the farewell.
Though I was stressed that time and managed to survive by God's strength, I am not regret, as those activities and challenges colored my life; I am a student who study to the fullest and also do things outside the classroom.

Semester 3:

Semester 3 is a big contrast compared to Semester 2, as I only have six hours class per week. This allowed me to watch movie almost every night. =)

Our hard work was finally paid off when our club was awarded as the Most Persevering Club and one of our events, INTI- UC 14km Run was the Best Collaborative Event.

The trophy.
At Installation Night.
My farewell.
My farewell.
At Camaraderie Night

... ...I am walking ahead, believing that God is with me, I shall not be afraid in the journey of life. I will live my life to the fullest!!
