Coming soon - the First Away from Home Chinese New Year

*A bit relief*, I just finished my two midterms this week, and guess what? After the test, I straight away had terrible tension headache . But thank God I recovered from the headache after a good night sleep. =) I already got the result for my two midterms, praise the Lord! Thanks to Yan Hui too, I sent her a Facebook message, asking her to pray for me, and she did. Well, life is fragile, human emotion is volatile; we need an external strength, one of my favourite bible verses Phil 4:13, "I can do everything through Him to strengthen me.". This is the song that I fall in love with recently:

Let's get back to the Chinese New Year topic.
We went to the Lunar New Year show by the Chinese Student Association last night, it was free for UW students. Hehe...
Below are some of the photos:

Dong, dong dong chiang!

By Seattle Chinese Orchestra

Inochi Taiko

Nobody dance crew
Trio from Zhenlun Cello Studio
They presented:
-Dance of the Golden Snake
-Butterfly Lovers
-Happy Saliha

The girl at the left threw her bra when they finished singing.

Eric Wu Chinese Yo-yo spectacle
They did make some mistakes, like the lion did not turn itself successfully, the bowl dropped, and the yo-yo dropped. Overall, it was a nice show!

How to survive in Seattle? by CL^2

First of all, Seattle rains about 9 months per year.
Hence, a rain jacket is a must and a pair of umbrella also not bad.
On top of that, rain's brother, wind also always visit Seattle.
The down side of the umbrella is that it cannot withstand the strong wind, and if you are not
careful, you might ended up buying new umbrella every month.

These are the sample of the waterproof jackets.
It does not has to be like mine, which has shining stripes xD

Next, water proof shoe. For example:

You can get a shoe like that for about USD 30 after tax.
I believe no one wants to arrived classroom with soaked socks.
And, walk properly on the snow; I fall down twice last time.

Oh well, this is totally a random post with random topic and random content.

A Gift from Malaysia

Today was initially a normal day; when I was on the way back to dorm, I checked my mail box.
Surprisingly, I got a package from Malaysia!
I know who the sender is, because she told me that she sent something to me.
But, this gift still brighten my day.
They are a hand-made card and a Rosemary mask sheet.
Thank you Yan Hui!
I thank God for my friends and family, I appreciate who I am and what I have =).

On top of that, we went to a park to see beautiful fireworks from Space Needle.
