NTV 7 圆游会

I attended this event last Sunday. Honestly, I went there because that was the first time NTV 7 organized it in Kuching, and it will not be in Kuching for another few years I guessed. I went there not because of the interesting events. In fact, I did not participate in any programs at all, neither the games nor the fun bid.

Did you go?

A Site - My production

I have to admit that I spend most of my time on sleeping(about 12 hours per day) and eating, but I never kept moving on to do what I should do.

I managed to accomplished one of the promises I have for myself, create my own website.

I believe that a good website should be simple, clean and usable, and my web site fulfills that goal. Please click here to visit my site.

This web site has three parts, "About Me", "Blog" and "Portfolio". The "About Me" is a simple homepage. The "Blog" does not has any real posting yet, I am still considering if I should move my blogspot there or I should just write other stuffs for that blog. Users need user name and password to access the "Portfolio" part because for now, the portfolio consisted of some of the selected work from my CSE190m(Introduction to Web Programming) homework, which we are not allow to publish it without any protection. This is because our lecturers still want to use some of them as future assignments. If you are very sure that you are not current or future CSE190m students, feel free to contact me for password. =)

Next, I will try to work on something else. I will try to do something everyday, although I will still be spending most of the time on sleeping, eating and watching television programs. Note: I am not a pig.

Last but not least, some of the lessons that I learned from my daily life. I started to think that I should not have expectation on other people. This is because I will get upset if they did not do what I expect them to do. I should definitely have expectation for myself, as this is how improvement will be gained.

Changes

Wow! The world is changing for good perhaps. I mean time is running non-stop, and of course things are changing, improving and aging (I know you know these.).

First and foremost, my favorite food changed. They used to be pizza, chicken rice, and sushi; now, they are fried oyster and "ha kau". Nonetheless, fried oyster is not in a steady position, because since I am back to my hometown, I experienced unacceptable fried oyster TWICE! They were not delicious, and maybe not fresh! I think "ha kau" might not be in a steady position too, as I already ate them for quite a few times in my hometown. I just realized that I have not eat laksa; I should and I will!

Next, the eating/drinking places in Kuching grew like the mushroom after the rain. I went to Delizze last week to meet my beloved friends, will visit Million soon, as some of my friends like it very much, my sister brought me to Misu Shabu Shabu the other day, and she also bought me to 中华茶馆 today. Honestly, I have not been to these place before. Why am I so outdated? These places have nice atmosphere and perhaps nice food.

Not at Shabu Shabu, but they are about the same.

Steamboat at Shabu Shabu
By the way, I do not know what should I do to my hair. I just cut it the other day, but Winnie said it is still very messy. Sigh... I do not feel like doing hair rebonding yet because I will only let my hair undergo rebonding in September. Then, what should I do for now? For the meanwhile, I tie my hair every day. I do not want to cut it short though.

Home, here I come

Within 24 hours, I am going to be at home.
One thing to bear in mind, the weather is very hot in Malaysia ><
From feeling very cold when the weather is sixteen degree Celsius to feeling sweaty.. and the temperature in Malaysia now is quite high. Hmm...
Nonetheless, home is the best place in the world! =)

The Journey to the East

Hehehehe, the long await day has finally here, in less than 10 hours, I am going to be on the plane. See you, home! =D

And, actually, things are not as bad as I taught. This was a terrible quarter, but God is good, and the outcome are not that bad.

I thank God that I had a video call with Jane two days ago. I agree with what she says and yes, I will stand up, this is not the end of the world.

Summer Break

Yeah, the break is here and I am going home very soon.

Here are my plan for summer:
- do nothing until I satisfy
- explore html5 and css3
- learn flash (maybe, though someone think is not necessary)
- go out with friends and family

To make it short, I just need to sit back and relax!

Hi, San Francisco

After 11 hours of journey on the road, we finally arrived at San Francisco. Compared to Portland, which is a small town, San Francisco is the 12th largest city in the United States and has the largest population of Chinese after China.
First day(22/3/2011)
We arrived at San Francisco at about 9pm, then we just walked around to enjoy the night view.

We visited the Apple Gate Trail museum when we were on the way to Frisco.
Outside the museum.

Second day(23/3/2011)
We cycled to the Golden Gate Bridge. It was very tiring, and I realized that I am the weakest among the team of seven in term of stamina. Sigh, I have no idea where my sport qualities go. Maybe I am slowly inclining toward becoming a nerd. We ate the delicious crab meat in the Fisherman Wharf. We also went to Lombard Street, the crookedest [most winding] street in the world. We also went to the Coit Tower, one of the famous trademarks in Frisco. Last but not least, we went back to hostel by cable car, the trademark of Frisco too. It was indeed a tiring and adventurous day.

What is friend? I think the easiest definition is someone who is willing to help you, though they might not be perfect. And, I definitely have a lot of friends.

I am the captain!
Side from the Coit Tower
The delicious crab meat.
The Golden Gate Bridge.

Third day(24/3/2011)
After a tiring yesterday, I was expecting a leg muscle pain, but thank God it didn't happen, instead, I suffered from a mild back pain because I was carrying my heavy bag for almost the whole yesterday.
I spent my whole afternoon writing essay, and joined my friend to Union Square and China Town in the evening.

This Spring break is awesome!

Spring Break =D

Wow!!!
Time flies, I studied here for two quarters already.
And, this is my second break, but a short break; one week...

Here goes my planning for the one week:
Yap, that is my plan for one week. Seriously, one week is very short.
After the break, we are going to have Spring quarter, then three months Summer Break, that is awesome!

Let's talk about my feedback for Winter Quarter.
Hmm... ten weeks gone.
Did I live to the fullest?
I guess so.
I wanted to wake up earlier, but fail to do so.
Well, God is good all the time, I feel weak sometimes, but he strengthen me.
It is indeed a great blessing to be here, and I know I am not that awesome, but He makes me awesome =)
Thank God!
And, thanks to all my friends and family who walked with me for this ten weeks.(sound like getting a great award, and is giving a thank you speech >.<, anyway, thanks! <3)

New quarter revolutions:
Sorry, I do not have any photos to share. But, stay tuned!

On top of that, we went to a park to see beautiful fireworks from Space Needle.

I in charged in creating the 1, second from the right.
